Why can't I see the full text for a monologue or scene?

Due to copyright restrictions, StageAgent is only able to display the full text of certain monologues and scenes. For many copyrighted works, we are limited to showing only a short snippet of the script text.

However, in these cases we typically still provide:

  • A video example of the monologue or scene being performed (when available).
  • A citation showing where you can find the full text in the published play.

You can often access the full scripts for these plays through your school library, public library, or by purchasing or licensing the script directly from the publisher.

Want to Only See Monologues or Scenes with Full Text?

When you’re searching for monologues or scenes on StageAgent, you can use the filters to limit results to only those that include the full text. This is helpful if you’re preparing for an audition and want immediate access to complete material.
