What is the difference between a dramatic and comedic monologue?
A dramatic monologue covers an emotionally serious or heavy topic while a comedic monologue is humorous/light in nature and /or intended to make the audience laugh. Helena's monologue in All's Well that Ends Well is a good example of a dramatic monologue. Rexie Rootin's monologue in Free T-Short, Size Large is a good example of a comedic monologue.
